BE BOLD. BE BRAVE. BE AWARE.
OUR MISSION
Awareness
We aren't afraid to start conversations about Testicular Cancer. The goal? To encourage young men to challenge the stigmas and pay attention to their health. We are encouraging our communities young men to be aware of their bodies and to take action when something doesn't feel right.
Education
In collaboration with our partners, we aim to provide clear, accessible, and potentially life-saving information to those at risk. Whether that's simply knowing the risk factors, practicing proper self-examination techniques, or making sure you make it to your annual physical, we will empower men take charge of their health.
Support
We stand strongly beside our fellow testicular cancer fighters and survivors. Our fundraising efforts will go toward community networking opportunities and mental health & wellness programs to ensure no one feels like they are facing this fight alone.
About Our Founder
Andrew Dorbin is a husband, father, and Maryland based videographer who was diagnosed with testicular cancer (Choriocarcinoma) in the Spring of 2023. While undergoing chemotherapy, he was overwhelmed by the generosity of his family, friends, and community, who rallied to support him and his family through his diagnosis and treatment. That experience of compassion and care lit a fire in him.
During a long hospital stay, Andrew witnessed other patients facing their battle alone; and he knew he wanted to give back when he was physically able. That idea eventually grew into Wayfinders Testicular Health Fund, a nonprofit focused on raising awareness, education, and building a supportive community fighting this disease. He’s now committed to making testicular health a topic young men aren’t afraid to talk about, and ensuring no one faces cancer without a community standing beside them.
